We’re a husband and wife team with three little ones and a desire to create incredible memories. KidsMap was born out of pure frustration during a 3 week road trip and maddening hours spent on google trying to find something that worked for our family.

We’d be searching for child friendly cafes and quickly realised that “child friendly” tends to just mean “we have a high chair” and so searching for a bite to eat as we made our way up New Zealand’s North Island became painful.

Do they have a kids menu?

Do they have a play area? Is it inside if it’s raining?

What age group is this appropriate for?

What about toilets? Change table? Is it pram accessible?

And arguably the most important: Do they make good coffee?

The frustration spread into activities and playgrounds and numerous times K would look at T and say “THERE JUST NEEDS TO BE AN APP FOR THIS!?” And so here we are:
